Paint Your Pet Night!
We are back with this ever popular event, Paint Your Pet Night! This one is a lot of fun and especially good for beginners and old pros alike. Even those who have not painted in a while, or have been hesitant to try can handle this! With a pre-sketched outline to use as a framework, you’ll be off to a great start unleashing your inner artist.
Alaskan Autum Paint Night
Driving down the Glenn Highway this time of year when the colors are changing is a great way to take in the splendor of the season. This painting is inspired by some of the views that can be found out that way, with the sun hanging low over the Chugach Mountains to the south as lakes sparkle in the tundra. Fall is short here, so enjoy it while it lasts!
Mushroom Paint Night 9/18
Next week’s Paint Night is inspired by my trip to Girdwood last weekend to check out the Turnagain Arm Mycological Society’s Mushroom Festival. Afterwards, a walk on Winner Creek trail revealed many different mushrooms popping up all over the forest floor.

Hey folks, I hope everyone is doing their best on this surprisingly nice Monday afternoon.
This Thursday I will be hosting the Octopus Paint Night at Sip Cafe. There are plenty of spots left open, so come on out, grab a refreshment, and lets put some color on canvas!
Next Thursday, 9/18 I will be back at Sip for a mushroom themed paint night. I was inspired by going to Girdwood last weekend and checking out some of the Mushroom Festival activities. More to come on that tomorrow!
I am actively working on upgrading the paint night gear/supplies and have just received new mixing pallets that are reusable and will make a great addition to my goal of creating a more sustainable painting experience.

I’m really exited to announce we are finally doing an aurora themed paint night to celebrate the changing of the seasons.

Paint Your Pet Night

We will be having Paint Your Pet Night at Sip Cafe on Thursday, March 27th from 6-8pm.
How this one works: email us a photo of your pet, and we will sketch a basic outline on 12” x 16” stretch canvas for you to use the night of the event. Above photo of Stew the dog (good boy) as an example.
All pets welcome! It can be anything you’d like. Dogs, cats, horses, fish, reptiles, rabbits, you name it, we’ll paint it.

The next Paint Night at Sip will feature this moose wandering through a springtime birch forest with lupines!
Thank you to Sip Cafe and everyone who came out for Paint Night! It was a lot of fun. We had painters from all levels out that evening and everyone was able to unleash their inner artist and enjoy a good ol’ painting session. Going to be a fun one folks! Our first Paint Night at Sip Cafe. Grab a friend or that special someone for this Valentine’s week and come out for the cheapest date night around!
Mt. Logan Mural
A few weeks ago during Xmas and New Year’s break, I completed an 8 ft by 10 ft mural for a friend’s kid’s room. Mt. Logan. I’m liking the way this one came out. Next up in the works is an Aurora themed one. I am open to doing more of these in the future for sure, it was a fun experience!
